Nose
Light and fragrant. Floral. Narcissus. Touch of lemon balm and mint. Gets biscuity. Vanilla wafer. Delicate fruit. Redcurrant. A lovely and subtle aromatic display. Sweet and ethereal.
Palate
Silky and caressing texture at first then drying and getting gently abrasive. The same delicacy as on the nose. Fresh red sour fruit and ripe pear.
Finish
Dry, spicy, nutty.
Comment
An enticing “whispering” whisky which makes me think of a fresh watercolour. Or a Schubert “moment sonata.” Definitely a springtime dram.

Nose
Quite shy and delicate at first. In time Dutch caramel waffle biscuits, lemon grass herbal quality, there are some fruits, woodland berries lurking. Honey sweetness too.
Palate
Again starts all sweet and gentle, but starts to beef up as the spices begin to build, caramel bars, blackberries, cinnamon and icing sugar.
Finish
Slowly dries with cinnamon and sugar sweetness lasting.
Comment
A dram of two halves, sweetness and spice.
