- Short pastry, fresh out of the oven.
- Palate
- Like biting into slightly fatty short pastry dusted with icing sugar. Inside is a dense, firmly chewy, filling of dark dried fruits. A Mediterranean counterpart to a Scottish black bun.
- Finish
- Dark spices, especially anise.
- Comment
- I had not realised Glen Moray could be so sensuous.

- Grass, green pear, nuts. In time becomes very creamy: milkshake/boiling milk. Malty.
- Palate
- Sweet fresh and floral (florist shop). Touch of honey. Nut loops. Gentle.

- Honeyed.

- Very fresh and attractive. Drink with cornflakes at breakfast.
