Nose
Honeydew melon. A hint of garden mint. Milk pudding. Caramel. Cedar. Palate
Creamy. Rich. Spicy. Sultanas. Plum cake. Nougat. Some toffeeish chewiness. Finish
Slightly burnt. Slightly rooty and woody. Comment
The richness of the whisky more than balances the slight woodiness. This is delicious. Glen Moray with maturity-and dimension-than we can usually experience.
Dave Broom
Nose
Full-on sherried notes: bitter chocolate, hot water bottle, cold tea, fig, smoke, autumn bonfires. Palate
Big, thick and mouthcoating. A hint of sulphur. Oily and soft. Finish
Thick and long. Some spice and rancid butter on finish. Comment
