Very scented. Musky. Hint of cloves.
Palate
Smooth and firm. More assertive. Toffee, apple, oak.
Finish
Long. Hints of peat. Grassy. Leafy. Resiny oak.
Comment
Less delicate and scenty, but more satisfying. More wine, but more of everything else.

Palate
Very smooth, almost buttery but with a prickling warming spice.
Finish
Lingering, spicy and oaky with a gentle smoky dryness.
