Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Very scented. Musky. Hint of cloves. Palate Smooth and firm. More assertive. Toffee, apple, oak. Finish Long. Hints of peat. Grassy. Leafy. Resiny oak. Comment Less delicate and scenty, but more satisfying. More wine, but more of everything else.

Doug McIvor Nose Ripe melon, orange peel, violets, banana skins and vanilla. Palate Very smooth, almost buttery but with a prickling warming spice. Finish Lingering, spicy and oaky with a gentle smoky dryness. Comment Greater dimensions than the original 16 Years Old.
