Nose
Buttery, vanilla rich (think homemade ice cream) soft centred meringues and candied fruit. A confectioner's delight.
Palate
The strength of the ABV gives this an advantage; it is deliciously rich and creamy, but also in possession of all the citrus vibrancy one could hope for. Water doesn't kill it off either.
Finish
Lemon infused custard, a little drying oak and a touch of sweet dessert wine.
Comment
Lingering, summery and takes ages to finish. Like a good Test Match.

Nose
Restrained. A sweet vanilla syrup note. Summer fruit. A grassy touch. Lemon balm. But all in halftones. With water, green apples.
Palate
Sweet at first. A fizzy feel on the tongue. Citrussy. Grapefruit. Blancmange. For me, the alcohol is not well mastered. It needs water.
Finish
In the same shy tone. Almondy.
Comment
A delicate whisky but the alcohol bite makes it difficult to fully appreciate.
