Nose
Scented, smooth with good depth beneath an initially blossom like/buttery/chamomile nose.
Palate
Waxy florals. Has a delicacy –green pear –and a certain sweet charm with some light candied peel character.
Finish
Sweet. Medium length. Smooth.
Comment
On the surface all smiles and amenability but like a David Lynch film there's darkness lurking underneath.

Nose
Clean sweet barley, vanilla, fruit bonbon, sweet apple. Irishy.
Palate
The apple and vanilla theme remains, there's a marzipan thing too, and although all sweet and reasonably full, there's a little sharpness there too. A bit two dimensional but there's nothing wrong here.
Finish
Sweet and fruity with a dollop of spice.
Comment
A whisky sorbet -refreshing and palate cleansing. Another interesting and unusual malt.
