- Nose
- Lightly peaty. Dry. Clean.
- Palate
- Big-bodied. Lightly syrupy. Malty. Sweet.
- Finish
- Long. Almost stingingly peaty. Warming. Soothing.
- Comment
- That simple one-two of sweetness and dryness is not especially complex, but the flavours are delicious. Very wholesome and appetising.

- Nose
- Much cleaner and uncluttered than of old. Light and quite alluring.
- Palate
- Impressive malt-fruit ratio with some playful young grassy tones standing up well to the bigger grapey notes. Mouth-watering all round.
- Finish
- Shorter than before with more emphasis on the fresh malt.
- Comment
- A vatted malt that has comprehensively changed shape in the last year.
