- Nose
- Lightly nutty with a little liquorice, varnish and oiliness that shifts to light
leather. Sweet again with added fruitiness.
- Palate
- Sweet (!) and liquorous. Quite thick feel with blueberry syrup. Ripe and
scented and almost liqueur like.
- Finish
- Weighty and full. Jam.
- Comment
- Soft and easy –and sweet –but all in all a little bland.

- Nose
- Lemon and lime starburst, a garden orchard after summer rain, fresh and
cleansing.
- Palate
- The expected sweetness is there initially but then it flip-flops and a
savoury and peppery wave arrives to add to the fruit. Red liquorice is in the
mix too, and there's a dying embers/charcoal undertow.
- Finish
- Prickly and quite long.
- Comment
- Too busy for some, lots and lots going on, but somehow it all comes together.
