78- Nose
- Sweet and tingling with lilac, custard cream and then sappy oak, sawn pine/sauna. Lifted, fresh and honeyed.
- Palate
- Soft, with the ginger note. Silky feel with a rich, deep palate that shows touches of sweet sawdust and pine candles. On the sweet side of things.
- Finish
- Sweet and slightly firm.
- Comment
- Full and rich.

- Aromatic and a bit like a Thai restaurant, with lemongrass, lime, fresh barley, caramel and pantry spices.
- Palate
- Rich and sweet, with tinned pear and peach but enough spice and body to stop it becoming cloying or over-sweet.
- Finish
- Balanced and pleasant, but fades quickly.
- Comment
- The virgin oak explains the spiciness. Quite delightful.
