Nose
Pale pink in hue. Crisp to start with light hints of pomegranate juice and lightly stewed fruits. Although there's a certain earthiness here it still seems a little immature.
Palate
Fruity but still a green unripe edge - again suggestive of immaturity or a lack of interaction with cask.
Finish
Improves. Creamy with red fruit but too late for me.
Comment
We all know ‘Dronach is capable of better. This is a relic of an old regime. Better things will come in the future.

Nose
First of all, the orangey colour is quite striking. A port finish ? Definite winey aromas. Sweet plums. A cheesy touch. Strawberry icecream. Oatcakes.
Palate
Sweet. Very sweet. A bit too much. Summer fruit pudding. A nice fizzy feel. White pepper and ginger.
Finish
Spicy and less sweet.
Comment
First impression is too much sweetness but the good spicy notes balance it. Quite satisfying in the end. I would like it on crushed ice.
