- Nose
- Pale pink in hue. Crisp to start with light hints of pomegranate juice and lightly stewed fruits. Although there's a certain earthiness here it still seems a little immature.
- Palate
- Fruity but still a green unripe edge - again suggestive of immaturity or a lack of interaction with cask.
- Finish
- Improves. Creamy with red fruit but too late for me.
- Comment
- We all know ‘Dronach is capable of better. This is a relic of an old regime.
Better things will come in the future.

- Nose
- First of all, the orangey colour is quite striking. A port finish ? Definite winey aromas. Sweet plums. A cheesy touch. Strawberry icecream. Oatcakes.
- Palate
- Sweet. Very sweet. A bit too much. Summer fruit pudding. A nice fizzy feel.
White pepper and ginger.
- Finish
- Spicy and less sweet.
- Comment
- First impression is too much sweetness but the good spicy notes balance it. Quite satisfying in the end. I would like it on crushed ice.
