- Light, dry maltiness; hint of fruit.
- Palate
- Dry start, becoming buttery, malty, nutty and lightly fruity.
- Finish
- Extraordinarily perfumy and long.
- Comment
- Very pale indeed. Wood a little worse for wear. Has a hard edge, but becomes silky and disrobes quite sexily.

- Intriguingly complex: kiwi and peach, pansies, peat and gentle oak.
- Palate
- Fuller and richer than the nose suggests.
- Finish
- Dark chocolate and malt.
- Comment
- A malt which has changed direction in recent years, probably because of the new stillhouse. It's nothing like as oily as of yore. The charm and delicacy more than make amends.
