- Hay. Grass. Vegetal. Oily. Waxy, perfumy.
- Palate
- Firm and smooth. Seems unyielding, then begins to develop surprising complexity, with moments of intense grassy sweetness and herbal dryness.
- Finish
- Peppery. Chillis? Stinging. Tenacious.
- Comment
- A son of the soil. I would like to pit its spicy flavours against a good haggis.

- A dry nose with crisp malt, attractive notes of flowers, fruit (lemon/quince/dried fruit) oil and a hint of smoke.

- Dry and clean to start, then opens nicely with mid-palate sweetness balancing a firm structure.

- A very attractive, highly drinkable malt.
