Nose
Light notes of old leather, tangerines, wood spice and white pepper. Vanilla and mild floral notes. Relatively ‘quiet.'
Palate
More commanding on the palate than the nose, with vanilla and orchard fruits, turning to dried fruits and black tea.
Finish
Drying to quite bitter chocolate and oak tannins.
Comment
Not a ‘sherry bomb' Glenfarclas by any means. Quite complex, but the finish is a little drier than might be expected.

Nose
Light and fruity on the nose with lovely peach and lemon notes.
Palate
Pleasing gentle flavours: lots of refreshing apple and citrus fruits.
Finish
A lingering honey sweet finish.
Comment
A juicy, fruity whisky, which belies its 18 years in the cask. Summer in a glass.
