Nose
Sherry. Old leather. Fig molasses. Treacle. Antique shop. Orange marmalade. Crème brûlée. Palate
Sweet. Sherry shines through. Polished oak. Raisins. Dark chocolate. Finish
Long, nutty and spicy. Comment
Classic sherry. well balanced. A perfect companion for a creamy pud.
Dave Broom
Nose
Outrageously flagrant in its perfume, like a gentleman’s cologne kept in a rosewood casket. Palate
Turkish delight, fresh timber, barley sugar sweetness, rum-like notes. Rich and sweet. Doesn’t take water too well. Finish
Dense, creamy/oily. Very powerful with good tannic balance. Supple power. Comment
The most fragrant on show. Slightly OTT, but has the weight to cope. George Melly in a glass.
