- Retrained and elegant. Broad soft fruits,dried cherry,polished oak with a spicy tingle. Light resin,roasted pepper/sun-dried tomato.
- Palate
- Nutty and oaky which loosens into butterscotch and then nuts ,then toasty cedar. Papery,then date like fruit before it starts to grip.
- Finish
- Firm and nutty.
- Comment
- Superb nose,but a little dry on the tongue. Still...!

- Intense,perfumy.Old furniture, antique shop. Spice dust from Hessian bags. Old English marmalade. Plums jam. Complex,unveiling layers of aromas.
- Palate
- Velvety, smooth. Sweet dried fruit. Sultanas,dates. Citrus candied peel.
- Finish
- Lingering on fruit and oak notes. Spicy dryness.
- Comment
- Oak is perfectly integrated. A rich character,well-balanced,delivering layers of flavours. Take your time!
