- Sweet and savoury. Bitter chocolate mixed with nuts and raisin. Light coffee notes. Slightly burnt. Has weight and style. Rewarding and complex.
- Palate
- Big and resinous. Good balance struck between sweetness and structure. Its apparentage is exposed by water which shatters it,so don't dilute!
- Finish
- Long and drying.

- A big whisky.

- A bit sharp at start then releasing sweet cooked fruit notes. Mouth coating. More chocolate,liquorice root.

- A rich,complex whisky who has managed to tame oak through time. Superb aromatic display. Impressive.
