Nose
Malty and oaky. Fresh sawdust. Cream fudge. Crème brûlée.
Palate
Sweet at start then getting an oaky grip. Fizzy and biting. A rancid note (like rancid walnuts).
Finish
Numbing and burning. With some fruity character (grapes and walnuts).
Comment
The nose offered some smoothness that the palate denied. Not numbing with water but gets bitter.

Nose
Huge amounts of creamy, caramel toffee mixed with butterscotch syrup - Hogwarts butter beer maybe? Along side orange peel that earthy note again, almond and dried fruit.
Palate
Chewy creamy toffee but there's a slight mustiness which diminishes it just a little. Overall though a lovely balance between sweetness and woody grip.
Finish
Soft and long.
Comment
Lovely, however that musty edge knocks it back.
