- Nose
- Malty and oaky. Fresh sawdust. Cream fudge. Crème brûlée.
- Palate
- Sweet at start then getting an oaky grip. Fizzy and biting. A rancid note
(like rancid walnuts).
- Finish
- Numbing and burning. With some fruity character (grapes and walnuts).
- Comment
- The nose offered some smoothness that the palate denied. Not numbing
with water but gets bitter.

- Nose
- Huge amounts of creamy, caramel toffee mixed with butterscotch syrup - Hogwarts butter beer maybe? Along side orange peel that earthy note again, almond and dried fruit.
- Palate
- Chewy creamy toffee but there's a slight mustiness which diminishes it just a little. Overall though a lovely balance between sweetness and woody grip.
- Finish
- Soft and long.
- Comment
- Lovely, however that musty edge knocks it back.
