Nose
Earthy, mossy and murky. Given time, some macerated cherries and dark chocolate begin to emerge, alongside a healthy slurp of Pedro Ximinez.
Palate
Aged sherry, more cherries, some muscovado sugar, strong black espresso and liquorice root.
Finish
Lingering notes of moist, chewed cigar and sour cherries.
Comment
A monster, anyone with a strong aversion to bold, sherried whiskies should probably look away now.

Nose
Aging tobacco, cedar wood humidors and seasoning logs. Big earthy tones and very autumnal. A little black tea.
Palate
Rich and lush with some dark fruits, cherries and blackberries. Big hit of sherry with the bitter sweetness of wood tannins.
Finish
Keeps going with dark fruit and chocolate.
Comment
A fine sherry bomb, great for the autumn season.
