- Nose
- A depth of honey aromas. Beeswax. Finally, a balancing flowery dryness and faint smokiness.
- Palate
- Very slow emergence of flavours. Firm, dryish, honey. Biscuity maltiness. A hint of bitter chocolate. A surge of soft, smokiness, with peat.
- Finish
- Hint of anis. Satisfying. Long.
- Comment
- Extraordinary flavour development. An astonishingly complex whisky.
