- Nose
- Faint peat. Underlying fruit. Pears, but very restrained. Fresh, appetising.
- Palate
- Light, lean, firm. A dryish, oily, matiness. Hints of white chocolate coming through.
- Finish
- White chocolate. Toasted nuts. Bitter black chocolate.
- Comment
- Glenfiddich has much more roundness of flavour since it switched from 'no age statement' to 12 years.

- Nose
- Cereal once again (a common note in this flight) with some citric light. Some crackerbread/biscuit and light wood notes. Everything in the upper register.
- Palate
- A bit creamier than you'd think with a chewy maltiness, whisper of orange and some chocolate. Discreet.
- Finish
- Soft.
- Comment
- A young, light, uncomplicated dram. Drink over ice.
