Nose
Coal dust and vanilla. Some grapefruit and wax candle with Dream topping at the back.
Palate
Lemon and smoke, a smoked whisky sour, chamois leather, fresh cut pine and some tar notes, in a warming, welcoming way.
Finish
Hot spices of fennel and red chilli.
Comment
A warm peaty dram for a wet spring evening.

Martine Nouet

Nose
Grassy and citrussy. Light, revealing a young age. Tangerine, lemon biscuits. A gentle floral note of gorse that a dash of water enhances.
Palate
Smooth and satin-like. Sweet, refreshing. Aniseed (dill seeds) with a pleasant creaminess.
Finish
Sweet, drying on candied ginger, with a nutty aftertaste of fresh crushed hazelnuts.
Comment
A pleasant dram which needs more years in the cask to give the full measure of its aromatic profile.
