Michael Jackson

Nose: Linen. Lemon grass. Gorse. Coconut. Fruity.
Palate: Grassy. Spicy. Peppery. Drying on the tongue.
Finish: Medicinal. Slightly astringent.
Comment: A distinctive malt, but now slightly past its best.

Dave Broom

Nose: On the edgy side of fragrant: sweet apple, green pear, quince. With water becomes more like a freshly peeled apple.
Palate: Another light and fresh dram. Orange Spangles, very lively, light fruits Good balance and real charm.
Finish: Odd fellows (that's the sweet, not the staff of RMW...then again...).
Comment: Not the most complex, but a bloody good drink.
