- Treacle and dark pipe tobacco. Progressively sweeter, more floral. Lots of honey.
- Palate
- Big in the mouth, sweet sherry, more honey, spice and tropical fruits.
- Finish
- Long and surprisingly lively, with plain chocolate and toasted oak.
- Comment
- Complex and confident. Lovely stuff!

- Full of cigar smoke, Parkin cake, dark treacle, plum pudding and a sweet floral note, almost lilies.
- Palate
- Coats the mouth and has a little tannin grip. Treacle dominated and has an olorosso sherry hit.
- Finish
- Big and spicy, gives a great buzz.
- Comment
- A great benchmark for the distillery to aim for.
