Nose
Clean, has the sharpness of youth with light bran, grass, fruit loaf. Sun-Pat (boxed) raisins and a growing dry/toffee sweetness.
Palate
Light sulphur with central sweetness. Compressed fruitiness at the centre, also suggestive of this still being young. Light plumminess and a cereal note as well.
Finish
Crisp and spicy.
Comment
Though clearly still coming together, this is a marker of real quality.

Nose
Sweet. Toffee, creamy fudge. Quite nutty. Rich, with a good malty core and a fruity expression. Sultanas. Dried apricot. Also baked apples in a cinnamon syrup.
Palate
Smooth and firm. Beautiful balance; All the nose promises are delivered. Drying on spices.
Finish
Long, gingery. With a nutty aftertaste.
Comment
Excellent. Well balanced and complex.
