- Nose
- Very aromatic, appetising and softly spicy.
- Palate
- Very malty. Long and unfolding. Clean. Sweet start. Creamy flavours, becoming cookie-like and nutty.
- Finish
- Chewy, malty. Very soft, restrained, dessert apple.
- Comment
- Delicious example of maltiness in a whisky. I always enjoy Glengoynes very much, but they invariably leave me wanting a little more.
