Tasting Notes

Arthur Motley Nose Plasticene, wet grass, spearmint. Palate Light, then dry and grassy. Finish Bran, malt and a little soapy. Comment Very much in its regional style, but lacks finesse or genuine interest.

Dave Broom Nose Estery. Orange oil/zest, freesia, stewed rhubarb, cinnamon, dry grasses, raisin bread. Palate Delicate and lightly floral, raspberry yoghurt and a crisp nuttiness alongside light vanilla. Finish Tea leaves, then mango. Comment A charming everyday drinking malt.
