Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Mealy with some sweet grassiness. Apple purée, wet fern and a floral character (lilac) . Some toasty oak below. Good creamy sweetness. Palate Intense and focused with real lemon tartness to start. Mellows into clotted cream, tangerine and a crisp oak giving balancing grip. Finish Surprisingly dry. Comment A huge leap in quality from the old 10 Years Old.

Martine Nouet Nose Refreshing, fragrant. Fruit cake, crystallised violets. Candyfloss. Liquorice toffee. Very confectionery-like. Palate Very much in tune with the nose. Smooth, round and fresh. With water, malt extract. Finish Carrying on the same aromatic path. Minty and aniseed losanges. Oat in the back. Comment A very linear aromatic display. No surprise. Just pleasant.
