- Nose
- More cask involvement here. Mature. Somewhat akin to a trifle (cream, custard, red fruits, sponge cake,
alcohol) pear and a light.touch of spicy (anise) oak.
- Palate
- Holds higher alcohol well showing there's plenty of flavours locked in. Good grip.
- Finish
- Spices galore.
- Comment
- Balanced, mature and elegant. More robust than you expect from Lowlands. Recommended.

- Nose
- Powerful alcohol masking an underlying delicate sweetness that comes out with water. Leather tones
and horse blankets.
- Palate
- Another sweet performance but with a menthol whiff that emerges with a little water.
- Finish
- Just disappears leaving a lingering spiced note.
- Comment
- A very substantial dram.
