Martine Nouet
72- Nose
- Sweet and intense. Almond cake. A hint of varnish. Barley sugar. Waxed floors. Plum compote. Rich sherry notes. Raisins, a touch of marmalade.
- Palate
- Fat, creamy, velvety, fruity. Stays on the sweet side. Stewed plums with ginger.
- Finish
- Not very assertive. Aromas quickly dwindle. Becomes sappy and somewhat astringent.
- Comment
- Doesn't deliver the promise of the nose. Surprisingly smooth for a fairly high alcohol strength.

- Clean and light. Red apple, sweet hay, vanilla, buttered popcorn/rice cakes.
- Palate
- A sweet and soft start. All very gentle and pretty much straight down the middle.

- Light.

- Attractive enough but hardly complex.
