Nose
Oaky. The sherry influence immediately signs the nose. Damp warehouse, musty aromas. Fungal. A cinnamon hint. Earthy.
Palate
Oaky. The sherry influence immediately signs the nose. Damp warehouse, musty aromas. Fungal. A cinnamon hint. Earthy.
Finish
Long, dry with a liquorice character.
Comment
A well balanced sherry whisky. I prefer the palate to the nose with this.

Nose
A well balanced sherry whisky. I prefer the palate to the nose with this.
Palate
The fruitiness continues, with more punchy jamminess, a little light smoke, well seasoned sweet root vegetables and some lingering baked apple.
Finish
Dry and lengthy, with an underlying moist oak note.
Comment
Robust and palate coating. Another contemplative dram.
