Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Rich, buttery. Yes, Madeira.
Palate
Luscious and toffeeish, then sudden explosion of sand, salt and oak.
Finish
Stinging saltiness.
Comment
One of the most expressive 'Morangies.

Dave Broom

Nose
Exotic. Burnt notes: toffee, dry tea, citrus, walnut, raisin bread. A hint of dust with water.
Palate
Rounded with a sweet burnt note old apple barrels. Good concentration with a savoury edge over a light, raisined core.
Finish
Prickly with attractive spiky oak.
Comment
Exotic and strangely appealing. More intensity and better grip than the Burgundy finish.
