Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Nose
Estery. Floral (flowering currant, gorse). Delicate creaminess. Tangerine juice followed by vanilla toffee and warm waffle.
Palate
Mellow, velvety, caressing but firm. Keeps floral all the way. And fruity too. Pear drop.
Finish
Long lasting, lots of flowering currant. Crystallised ginger in the back.
Comment
A malt to make peace with the whole world. Soothing, graceful, satisfying.

Dave Broom

Nose
Smooth, soft, vanilla-like, American oak fruitiness with some mango, orange spangles, mixed citrus peels. Perfumed and lightly herbal.
Palate
Good flow. Really spicy, coconut, passion fruit, nutmeg. Everything in balance.
Finish
Lightly nutty, sweet and long.
Comment
Attractive nose, but it is on the palate where this really delivers.
