Nose
Luscious, exotic, floral. Demerara sugar. Cloves. Old Jamaican rum. Verbena. Vanilla.
Palate
A sweet start followed by a salute of spices and exotic flavours. Coconut, cloves, cane sugar. Alcohol never bites, even without water.
Finish
Medium long, with lots of toffee and vanilla. Stem ginger.
Comment
A malt disguised in rum! Very surprising but not less exciting for that.

Nose
HUGE oak impact. Starts like an ice cream float (on cherry cola), then becomes even sweeter: sponge cake, banana loaf. Add water and there’s a lightly singed note from the wood.
Palate
Slow and sweet. Tropical fruits all mushed together with vanilla, but still has a balancing grip.
Finish
Long and rounded.
Comment
A wonderful rum...sorry, whisky! You can feel the calories piling on when you drink this.
