Nose
Prickly. Mustard. Angelica. Lemon grass. Hint of carnation. Condensed milk. Ice cream. Palate
Quite smooth for the strength. Light bodied but syrupy with water. A full burst of pear drops. Sweet cereal. Touch of aniseed. Finish
Drying. Slightly fizzy. Ends abruptly. Comment
A pretty, refreshing malt. The high strength is more noticeable on the nose than on the palate. But it does need water.
Dave Broom
Nose
Some nose burn. Behind that there's custard, cooking apple, banana chips, lemon. Touch of Turkish delight, icing sugar. With water a carpenter's workbench. Bounty bar. Palate
Lively. A little perfumed, slight tongueclinging quality, lightly nutty. Tingling, orange fondant and milk chocolate. Finish
Mustard leaves. Comment
A frisky wee beastie.
