Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Nose
Perfumy, fruity. Like being in a sun-exposed orchard on a scorcher. Ripe juicy peaches. Apricot blossom. A touch of minty freshener. Appetising.
Palate
Mellow and round at start. Oily feel. Sweet maltiness, followed by a burst of spicy flavours.
Finish
Lingering and spicy. Beautifully dovetailing.
Comment
A superb fruity expression, with a summery aromatic profile. Water makes it even more sensuous. Definitely morish.

Dave Broom

Nose
Buttery, intense and lightly oily, then a blast of exotic herbs and spices (fresh fenugreek, pepper tree leaves). Then comes porcini mushroom, passionfruit, syrup, caramel and vanilla.
Palate
Great balance here between cask and spirit. Peachy, then a light grip, sweet fruits.
Finish
Crushed black fruits.
Comment
Multilayered with hidden depths and subtle sweetness. A marvellous addition to a fascinating and groundbreaking, innovative range.
