- Nose
- Stewed apple/quince,then a light touch of raisin, cheese and a hint of sulphur. Mango and honeycomb
underneath. Water brings out a fungal note.
- Palate
- Slick sweet start with a walnutty core, liquorice then earth. Chewy with a mix of big softfruits and earthy
tannins giving a subtle grip.
- Finish
- Long.
- Comment
- Very well integrated. A real improvement.

- Nose
- Intense. Vanilla hits the nose. Apple flan. Waffles. Some exotic fruit. Guava. Combawa. In the back,a winey note.
- Palate
- Crisp with a malty mellowness. Rich fruity flavours. A touch of whitepepper.
- Finish
- Long,spicy. White chocolate
- Comment
- Obviously from the same family as some others on taste. Does not have their lusciousness. Oak had left a
stronger print. A sherry finish?
