Dave Broom

Nose
Light sweet and estery. Tangerine and toasted oak.Very light apricot/just the merest hint of passion fruit along with floury malt. With water a mix of gorse flower (coconut) and broom (pea pod.)
Palate
Light and buttery. summery even, with banana and lilac blossom. Oak has a say in this.
Finish
Slightly green.
Comment
A perfectly sound,easy-going,sweet dram. Not a patch on ‘Original'(which of course is newer).

Nose
Bags of sweet fruits here. Almost Dandelion and Burdock (the fizzy drink). Classic toasted oak giving a vanilla touch.Kiwi or green grapes as well.
Palate
Spicy with a delicate flowery edge. Cream almost Italian butteryness. A hint of ripe bananas.
Finish
Long and rounded.
Comment
A great everyday drinking malt. Interesting to see how this has morphed into the new Original.
