- Nose
- Distinctive, complex, rich, sweet, slightly winey.
- Palate
- Cedary. Very nutty indeed. The more raisiny notes of Malaga seem to play hide-and-seek in the background. Creamy. Nutty.
- Finish
- The characteristic Glenmorangie salt comes through very late.
- Comment
- Reminiscent of the port finish but slightly gutsier and less sophisticated. I would love to try it, tapas-style, with Manchego, or perhaps Grazelema, cheese.

- Nose
- Delicious infusion of sweet, perfumed notes of the candy shop dusted with a sprinkling of oak.
- Palate
- That sweetness is evident early on but soon diminishes as a fruity lustre gives way to a significan't build-up of spices.
- Finish
- Extremely long. Peppery, then fine malt interacts with oak and just a little smoke.
- Comment
- Eye-catching, complex and downright deliciously unusual.
