- Nose
- Lightly oaky. Sandalwood. Hint of brown sugar.
- Palate
- Butterscotch, lots of vanilla and honey.
- Finish
- Light, refreshing. An almost spritzy, crunchy, toasty, dryness.
- Comment
- Very evident first-fill Bourbon character.

- Nose
- Fabulously complex with malt in varying degrees of sweetness and intensity giving an almost three-dimensional feel. Apples and kumquats offer a mixed fruitiness that lightens it a little. The oak offers vanilla and polished leather.
- Palate
- Big dry oak start which sweetens as the malt gathers pace. Brilliant balance of drier vanilla and sweeter toffee.
- Finish
- Extremely long and malty with the heavier, silky tones clinging, unusually for a Glenmorangie, to the roof of the mouth. The oak returns to add extra dryness and weight.
- Comment
- A charming and excellent single malt offering untold complexity in the layers of flavours.
