- Nose
- Mature, highly extracted aromas. Varnish, fruit jams alongside cherry, bitter chocolate, barley sugar, overripe apricot and dunnage warehouse.
- Palate
- Vinous. The dense fruits re-appear with a balancing sourness and a hint of bitter orange peel. Powerful, rich, thick and waxy/unctuous that, once diluted, reveals membrillo and rose hip syrup.
- Finish
- Cedar and liquorice.
- Comment
- Odd, askew, individual and marvellous but way too pricey. On liquid alone the score is 9.1

- Nose
- Woody. Damp wood. Some mustiness. Humus. A sweet note slowly emerges. Orange squash.
- Palate
- Smooth at first followed by a fizzy burst. Alcohol is well mastered. Powerful but not biting. Sweet malty notes with an orangey touch. Spices. Chili, nutmeg.
- Finish
- Short but soothing on dried almonds.
- Comment
- The nose is not very inviting but the palate is more interesting. A few drops
of water cuts the edges.
