85- Nose
- Very rich,bags of citrus peel,more steamed fruit pudding than Christmas cake. There is a creamy smoothness to it as well.
- Palate
- Soft and easy going. Plenty of red and dark berries with a zip of orange and lemon peel too.
- Finish
- Fruit compote and cream.
- Comment
- A great addition to the Glenrothes vintages. Stands up well among its fellow bottlings.

72- Nose
- Rich,floral and intense. Almost liqueur-like,with strong wine notes and rosehip.
- Palate
- Red berry fruits. Christmas cake mix, orange and marzipan in the mix. Soft and rounded.
- Finish
- Rich and creamy with lingering fruit.
- Comment
- Perfectly acceptable example of one of the Glenrothes styles.
