- Palate
- Marshmallow maltiness. Nutty. Condensed mllk. Cinder toffee.
- Finish
- Gentle, long, warming. Some soft, restrained, peaty notes.
- Comment
- More rounded, and longer, than the 1972.
Dave Broom
85- Nose
- Clean, oaky and nutty (acorn/hazelnut/ground almond). Behind that there's soft creamy fruits, nutmeg, orange, cereal, juniper and dried grass. Very attractive.
- Palate
- Sweet nut to start. Well balanced with a fine-boned structure and a soft, fruity mid palate.
- Finish
- Lightly spiced.
- Comment
- Round, soft and gentle. A charmer.
