Nose
Sherry. Peaches and cream. Palate
Sherryish nuttiness and sweetness at first, but the drier distillery character gradually emerges. Lots of flavour development. Finish
Rounded, spicy (aniseed?)with a lovely peaty warmth. Comment
After dinner.
Jim Murray
Nose
Absolute class! A cluster of berry-fruits add to the complexity. Palate
Sexy, voluptuous mouthfeel with the honey taking off early then a more estery fruitiness and a big build up of malt. Finish
Hints of cocoa underline the age and the bitter/sweet honey oak finish lasts forever. Comment
A restrained malt for all its massive complexity and depth.
