- Nose
- Soft smoke. The burnt skin of some chestnuts roasting.
- Palate
- Rich, smooth, luxurious. A whole box of liqueur chocolates concentrated into my tasting glass. Dark chocolate, variously filled with coffee and cherry liqueurs. Perhaps even peppermint.
- Finish
- Sappy, oaky, dryness.
- Comment
- A stunning farewell performance.

- Nose
- Fragrant wood (rosewood?) incense/musk, rancio, cheese rind, sweet and rum-like, toffee apple. Perfumed.
- Palate
- Starts very concentrated and sweet. Treacle scones, bung cloth, humidor, then firm wood starts to dominate. Grippy.
- Finish
- Treacle toffee, tannic.
- Comment
- A wonderful nose but too woody for me.
