- Nose
- Sherry. Rubbery. Lilac.
- Palate
- Sherry prevails. Burnt oak. Slightly sulphurous. Touch of chestnut.
- Finish
- Surprisingly discreet for what could be expected from a sherried malt.
- Comment
- Sherry influence calls the tune. Water calms the flavours down.

- Nose
- Gold. Dry spices, garam masala/coriander powder. Reminds me of an old trunk in the loft. There's some chocolate/biscuity notes, burnt orange and spent matches. Undemanding stuff.
- Palate
- Clean and lightly malty. Slightly dry with a little bitterness on the side of the mouth.
- Finish
- Nuts.
- Comment
- Easy-going, but nothing to get too excited about.
