Nose
Green apple. Garden mint. Orchard flowers. Honey. A hint of white chocolate. Palate
Very clean. Surprisingly austere on the palate. A hint of smokiness in the background. Finish
Dry spiciness. Slightly rooty. Softens to almond milk and porridge notes. Comment
Very fragrant on the nose but more restrained in the mouth. Needs time to perk up.
Dave Broom
Nose
Gold. Juicy fruits (in fact, Juicy Fruit chewing gum) and some ripe strawberry. Water dries it slightly; malty, with coke (the fuel) and soft creamy fruits and cream. Charming. Palate
Soft and well-fruited (peach/caramelised apple), then it dries up. Finish
Dry, quite biscuity. Comment
Good balance and nice weight if a little woody.
