- Nose
- Green apple. Garden mint. Orchard flowers. Honey. A hint of white chocolate.
- Palate
- Very clean. Surprisingly austere on the palate. A hint of smokiness in the background.
- Finish
- Dry spiciness. Slightly rooty. Softens to almond milk and porridge notes.
- Comment
- Very fragrant on the nose but more restrained in the mouth. Needs time to perk up.

- Nose
- Gold. Juicy fruits (in fact, Juicy Fruit chewing gum) and some ripe strawberry. Water dries it slightly; malty, with coke (the fuel) and soft creamy fruits and cream. Charming.
- Palate
- Soft and well-fruited (peach/caramelised apple), then it dries up.
- Finish
- Dry, quite biscuity.
- Comment
- Good balance and nice weight if a little woody.
