- Nose
- Toffeish. Candied orange. Heather. Delectable fruitiness (pears and apricots).
- Palate
- Velvety, smooth. Full, custardy. Pudding-like.
- Finish
- Delicately lingering, rolling out with toasted malt notes.
- Comment
- Good introduction to Speyside's generosity. Especially if served with a crème brûlée.

- Nose
- Scented, lifted, estery with some coconut matting, vanilla, with hints of citrus. Water brings out a lovely floral edge (lily/freesia), some orange and poached pear.
- Palate
- Though subtle it has good weight and a great balance between honey, cream and dry nuttiness.
- Finish
- A tickly cough of smoke.
- Comment
- Very attractive, approachable and charming.
