- Nose
- Perfumy. New leather upholstery in a luxury car. Mint imperials for the road.
- Palate
- Butterscotch sauce. Peaches and cream. Sherry trifle.
- Finish
- Deliciously rounded. Some garden mint. A hint of peat. Balancing dryness. Gently warming.
- Comment
- The best Benromach I have tasted. I wonder what she should expect in a few years from the new stillhouse.

- Nose
- Intense and colourful. A basket of ripe summer fruit (apricot, peach) with a fresh lemony character. Becomes biscuity (shortbread) with water. Pleasant dry oakiness in the back.
- Palate
- Smooth and velvety. Oak and spices tend to prevail over the fruit.
- Finish
- Dry, spicy and slightly astringent.
- Comment
- A vibrant, characterful malt, drier on the palate and finish than expected from the nose.
