- Nose
- Sherry. Ripe red fruit. Smoke.
- Palate
- Winey. Body is sweetish and creamy. Nougat. Port-like.
- Finish
- Huge fruit. Cherry brandy.
- Comment
- A lovely digestif whisky.

- Nose
- Tangy, spirity. Creamy when aerated. Dates, figs. Marzipan. Black pepper.
- Palate
- Biting, fizzy mouthfeel. A lot of toffee and dark chocolate.
- Finish
- Dry, liquoriced and peppery. Turns quite bitter. Wood is blatantly overpowering.
- Comment
- The unusually high strength of this 23 Years Old malt makes it taste younger. Water tames the spirit but heightens woodiness. Lacks delicacy.
