Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Resiny. Sappy. Crème brûlée. Smoky. Palate Lightly syrupy, developing fruity dryness, then vanilla-pod nutty spiciness... Finish Sudden, surprising, surge of smokiness. Comment Strathisla has its own distinct, rather dry style-and this is a good example.

Martine Nouet Nose Rich and intense. Unmistakeably oloroso. Resiny. Plum marmalade. Clove orange, cinnamon. Palate Very complex and elegant, releasing waves of flavours. Mulled wine. Jaffa cake. Candied ginger. Spanish oak. Finish Lingering, dry, slightly astringent, spicy. Comment A rich expression of a venerable sherry maturation. Will delight sherry-cask aficionados.
